We spoke with the nurse about when we can expect him to come home. She says it's hard to tell but he needs to be drinking his 8 bottles before he can come home. After he reaches his 40 weeks they will evaluate the idea of the G-tube(stomach tube) and the coming home on Oxygen. If he needs the G-tube he will need to undergo surgery and will be in the hospital for at least an extra week to recover. Taking the tube out is done in the doctors office. If he comes home on Oxygen they will run a whole bunch of tests to see how much he will come home on. The oxygen will be a constant flow of 100% the difference will be in the liters he will take per day. Weight: 4lbs 13.1oz
Drank the full 39cc in 3 of his 4 feedings.
The speech therapist is feeding him today at 2:00. << Back
