This is the website of Luis Thomas Gallant. Luis was born on June 16th, 2001 at 24 weeks gestation. Luis was 1.42 lbs and was 11 7/8 inches long making him a micro preemie. After 4 months in the hospital and 6 months home on oxygen, Luis has grown up a healthy active child. Luis' BlogThe nurse gave us the news tonight. We have to bring in the car seat so they can see how well he does in it. Monday October 1st they come to the house with Luis’ equipment. This consists of a Breathing and Heart Rate Monitor, and an oxygen unit. Monday night we stay over to the hospital so we can get used to the equipment and see how well he adjusts to the different machine. Monday, September 24th, 2001Weight: 6lbs 0.2oz Luis had a hearing test today, the results are normal. He also drank 58cc of milk (Very good).
Dr. Bing performed his circumcision this morning and he is doing fine (Mom's fault). Dr. Bing was very happy to see him doing so well. She is one of the doctors that performed the Caesarian Section on Mommy. Luis is now off the 24 calorie supplement and is on regular 22 calorie breast milk and or Infacare. Sunday, September 23rd, 2001Weight: 5lbs 15.7oz Today Mommy signed to have little Luis circumcised. Luis, when you read this years from now, Mom did it!
